Born and raised among the mesmerizing peaks and pristine waters of Western Montana, YITM designer & metalsmith Mariele Ivy has always been inspired by the symbiosis of people and their environment.
She established her first design studio in the San Francisco Bay Area, then went on to study silversmithing in Northern Mexico, and teach lapidary at Georgia O'Keeffe's famed New Mexico Ghost Ranch. Now back home in the Rockies, Mariele's respect for nature and eco-friendly practices remain a pillar of her work.
"I learned from a young age that being an artist isn't just about producing work, it's the way you live your life. Where you listen to the seasons changing, to energize your aesthetic and mood. Where there is only room for simple, purposeful & inspired design... and everything else is gone with the shift of the breeze."Artist/Founder Mariele Ivy
