Architecturally inspired pattern on matte slate leather is stylish, unique, and functional, with multiple pockets for cards, cash, and receipts. A natural tan leather strap folds inside the wallet or converts into a wristlet for easy carrying. Finished with subtle antique brass hardware.
The stunning work of San Francisco architect turned designer Molly McGrath is informed by graphic design, textiles, and nature. While a student at Berkeley, she learned to use a laser cutter to create building models... and subsequently retooled the machine to craft accessories that are works of art in their own right.
She runs her studio in the werkstatte tradition - a hybrid of design, craft, and tech with a focus on the applied arts.
"I just bought a laser cutter and went for it. My training in architecture was very much about details, connections and how materials come together. I use that in all the pieces I make."Molly McGrath, Molly M Designs
